    People of different faiths used to live side by side with little concern. At one time, Jews served as advisors and heads of state in Muslim countries, Christians and Jews labored together to build the culture in catholic Spain. Christians lived in harmony with Muslims in the Middle East.

    people who had said that were accused of herecy , therefore they were bound to be persecutated by the Roman Church of Rome.

    one author has said that it seems as if heretics usually escaped persecution. These were the first Christians to be put to death by the Roman Church.

      The writings of Priscillian had been completely lost, until in 1886 eleven tracts of his were discovered in a library in Europe. They were found to contain nothing heretical.
